That depends on if we already have a ColorTyme store there or a development agreement in place with an existing Franchisee. Call for details.

4) How do I convert my independent rent to own store(s) to a ColorTyme store(s)?

ColorTyme will help with converting the store(s) to a ColorTyme store(s) and establish an inventory credit line up to $300K.

5) What if I have rent to own experience, but I don’t qualify financially?

Based on the type of rent to own experience you have, your credit score and a minimum of $25K investment by you, we may have investor(s) looking to partner with you.

6) How much profit can I expect to make?

7) If I qualify for a franchise, what is the typical amount of time it takes to get a store open?

From the date you sign a franchise agreement, the average amount of time until an opening is 3-6 months. This is dependent on site availability and lease negotiations; it could take longer.

8) What would be my exit strategy, if I decided I wanted to sell my ColorTyme store at a later date?

We would help facilitate finding a buyer through the ColorTyme system or Rent-A-Center, ColorTyme’s parent company, is always interested acquiring additional locations.

9) What is different about a ColorTyme franchise versus other franchises in your industry?

ColorTyme does not have company owned stores. We strictly cater to Franchisee needs. ColorTyme has more areas open for developing ColorTyme stores than most of the competition. ColorTyme’s innovative staff is always looking for ways to develop new revenue streams for our stores and Franchisees.

10) I have no experience in running my own business and have never done accounting or any of the home office duties.  What kind of help can I expect in this area?

ColorTyme’s CTU for Owners is dedicated to educating new owners on running their businesses efficiently. In addition, we have approved providers to help our Franchisees establish P.O.S. systems and help with accounting.
